Introducing COVID-19 Support Services for a Healthy Mind

30 April, 2020

Focus introduces a range of therapeutic online services to create opportunities for meaningful engagement and positively impact your mental health.

The current coronavirus pandemic is challenging us all in different ways. For most of us, it's led to us spending more time indoors and on our own than ever before. This can lead to feeling so of fear, anxiety and loneliness.

Our new therapeutic online services aim to alleviate some of the negative impacts of isolation. These services create opportunities for meaningful engagement and can provide positive outcomes for your mental health.

Art Therapy Online

Art Therapy is a blend of creativity and psychology. Making art can be relaxing, stimulating and insightful, which can reduce levels of stress and anxiety. Our Art Therapists encourage personal expression, and you'll experience the satisfaction of exploring your own creative process and finished artwork.

How can I participate in one-on-one Art Therapy Online Sessions?

The sessions are one-on-one, and you don’t need to have any artistic skills or experience to participate.

You may be experiencing overwhelming feelings and change in the face of the coronavirus pandemic. An online counselling session may help to gain insight into personal challenges. It will provide an opportunity to learn effective coping skills and practical strategies to improve emotional wellbeing.

The confidential one-on-one session with our in-house counsellor allows a safe space to discuss anything that may be troubling you.

Check-In Phone Calls

If you are in isolation, feelings of loneliness and uncertainty are common. A check-in phone call with our in-house counsellor may brighten your day, be reassuring, and provide an opportunity to be social. This can help to alleviate stress, elevate mood and give you and your family peace of mind.
